David McMorran

David graduated from Strathclyde University in 1998 with an honours degree in Architectural Studies and followed this up in 2000 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Design.   On completion of his university education David joined leading Glasgow practice ADF Architects and rose from an Architectural Assistant to Director in 2009.

During David’s time at ADF he worked on a large number of different projects and workstreams gaining valuable experience and developing strong working relationships with clients and fellow construction professionals.

He played a key role in developing work for Sainsbury’s, overseeing the design and delivery from conception to completion of new stores and extensions across Scotland and North East England. He also helped develop new workstreams in the form of office fit out, fulfilment centres and store support centres.

David, was also responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of the Radisson Group’s first new build ‘Red’ brand hotel in Europe,

David has extensive experience in a variety of different sectors, and he has gained a reputation as a trusted and considered designer with an analytical and meticulous approach.

As a fully qualified Architect, David is registered by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).
